Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Does AliaHijabs ship to my country?

Absolutely! We ship globally so as long as there is a working postal system in your country, we will ship to you. :) You can always choose to have your package delivered by a courier service if you would prefer that to International Mail Standard.

2. How long will it take to receive my order?

Once your order is processed, the shipping time varies based on the shipping method that is chosen. You can read more about our shipping policy here.

3. How do I wash/care for my hijabs?

1) The Load. Wash your hijabs *only* with other hijabs of like colors - don't include other articles of clothing as they may get twisted up in pant legs, arm sleeves, etc.
2) Wash. Wash all of our hijabs (chiffon, georgette, satin, viscose, modal, and jersey) in warm water on the delicate/hand wash cycle. Use a soft detergent (and fabric softener so they feel super soft!) and feel free to throw in some baking soda to help eradicate odors and stains! (If you need to pre-treat stains, do so before loading into the washer).
3) Dry. Throw everything in the dryer and tumble dry on low. Take everything out as soon as they finish drying.
4) Iron. Any woven or jersey wraps (this includes Viscose and Modal) will shrink up when washing and drying so they'll need some ironing. When ironing satin or silk, be sure to iron on the non-shiny side. Chiffon may or may not need ironing depending on the size of your load and how quickly you remove them from the dryer.
5) Store. Store your hijabs by hanging them on a scarf hanger. Be sure to hang your hijabs as soon as you remove them to avoid any wrinkling.

4. Does Aliahijabs have a physical store?

No. We do not currently have a physical location. It is something we are considering in the future inshAllah, but you can catch us often around the Orange County area in California. You will find us at your local mosques and Bazaars, every now and then we will post to our social media outlets. In the meantime, enjoy your shopping experience on our website!.

5. As an International customer do I need to pay customs for my order?

Duties and customs are determined by each country individually - the fee(s) would be collected/billed by your local customs. To get an idea of how much your country charges you can check the  Duty Calculator. Note, AliaHijabs is not responsible for any customs or duty charges.

6.. I don't have a credit card or Paypal account, how can I make a purchase?

For a debit card with a visa or master sign and a credit card- add your items to the cart and then click checkout to follow directions *Western Union: This is the fastest mode of payment. You can send money via Western Union to our California office, email support@Aliahijabs.com for invoice and address Bank Transfer: You can send money via bank transfer to our California office, email support@Aliahijabs.com for invoice and address Check: You can also mail us a check to our California office, email support@Aliahijabs.com for invoice and address Money order: You can send money via money order to our California office, email support@Aliahijabs.com for invoice and address.
