Return & Refund Policy
At Alia Hijabs, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, we may be able to assist with a return, exchange, store credit, or refund in accordance with the terms below.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to this Return & Refund Policy.
Return Eligibility
Most eligible items may be returned within 30 days from the date your order is delivered, as indicated by the shipping carrier's tracking information.
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed.
- Items must be in original resalable condition.
- Original tags must remain attached where applicable.
- Original packaging should be included when reasonably possible.
- Proof of purchase or order confirmation must be provided.
Items showing signs of wear, washing, fragrance, perfume, makeup, deodorant, stains, alterations, damage, pet hair, smoke exposure, or other conditions preventing resale may not qualify for a refund, exchange, or store credit.
Alia Hijabs reserves the right to refuse returns that do not satisfy these requirements.
Return Authorization
Before returning any item, customers must contact Alia Hijabs for return instructions.
Returns sent without prior authorization or proper identification may experience delays in processing or may be returned to the sender.
Non-Returnable Items
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:
- Final Sale items
- Clearance items marked as non-returnable
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Gift cards
- Digital products or downloadable content
- Opened or used accessories
- Items specifically identified as non-returnable on the product page
Any product-specific return restrictions will be disclosed when applicable.
Sale & Promotional Items
Unless otherwise required by law:
- Items discounted by 20% or more may be eligible for store credit only.
- Final Sale items are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
- Promotional discounts do not affect statutory consumer rights.
Store credit:
- Has no cash value.
- Is non-transferable.
- Cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
Exchanges
Eligible items may be exchanged for another available item, color, or size, subject to inventory availability.
Customers are generally responsible for any applicable shipping costs associated with exchanges unless the exchange results from an error made by Alia Hijabs.
If the requested replacement item is unavailable, store credit or a refund may be offered where appropriate.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please provide:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs showing the problem
Upon review, Alia Hijabs may, at its discretion and as required by applicable law, provide a replacement, refund, store credit, repair, or other appropriate resolution.
Refund Process
Returns are generally inspected within 5 business days after being received.
Once your return has been reviewed, you will receive notification regarding approval or denial of your refund.
If approved, refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Financial institutions may require additional processing time before funds appear in your account.
Shipping Costs
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless:
- The item received was defective;
- The incorrect item was shipped; or
- A refund of shipping costs is otherwise required by applicable law.
Customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs.
If an order qualified for free shipping and the return causes the order value to fall below the applicable free-shipping threshold, Alia Hijabs reserves the right, where permitted by law, to deduct the original shipping cost incurred from the refund.
Refused Deliveries
Orders refused after shipment may be subject to:
- Return shipping charges
- Carrier fees
- Customs fees
- Duties and taxes
- Original shipping costs incurred by Alia Hijabs
Such amounts may be deducted from any refund where permitted by law.
Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier and tracking information has been provided, shipping issues may be subject to carrier investigation procedures.
Customers should:
- Verify shipping information
- Check with household members and neighbors
- Contact the shipping carrier
- Report concerns promptly
Alia Hijabs will make reasonable efforts to assist customers but cannot guarantee reimbursement for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier unless otherwise required by law.
International Orders
Customers are responsible for customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, and similar charges imposed by their destination country.
Shipping fees, customs charges, duties, taxes, and related governmental fees are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Fraud Prevention & Return Abuse
Alia Hijabs reserves the right to investigate suspicious return requests, refund claims, chargebacks, or other potentially fraudulent activity.
Where permitted by law, we may limit or refuse returns, exchanges, refunds, or future purchases from customers exhibiting:
- Excessive return activity
- Abuse of promotional programs
- Fraudulent behavior
- Unauthorized chargebacks
- Violations of our Terms of Service
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits, excludes, or replaces any rights that may apply under applicable consumer protection laws.
Where local laws provide additional protections or rights, those rights remain fully applicable.
